Once the program idea and goals were in place, Caitlin emailed about twelve churches around the metropolitan Atlanta area. Of the twelve, Caitlin got a couple of replies. One of the replies came from Rev. George Tatro, of Memorial Presbyterian Church. At the time, we did not realize that Rev. George's church was about one mile away from the school. Rev. George had received a forwarded email that Caitlin wrote from his friend, Rev. David Lewicki, of North Decatur Presbyterian. Here is part of his letter...

Rev. David Lewicki of North Decatur Presbyterian forwarded your message to me about the situation at Indian Creek Elem. I have been at Memorial Drive Presbyterian since November. The needs can seem overwhelming and I want to let you know that we are here to support you in your service to children.
We were so excited to receive this email. We are looking forward to working with Rev. George!
